Redesigning a Venezuelan Baseball Icon — a New Era Begins in 2025

At the heart of this project was storytelling through design. As Creative Director, I led the full concept development from cultural research and visual exploration to design execution and client presentation to redefine what a modern baseball uniform could be without losing the soul of the franchise.

Working closely with Tamanaco Sports, the official apparel sponsor, our team ensured each uniform honored the legacy of the Cardenales while introducing bold new elements that reflected today’s energy and fan expectations. We crafted every piece with intention: the cuts, typography, color accents, and visual language were all grounded in legacy yet future-facing in style.

Though the uniforms are currently in production for 2025 rollout, this greenlit project already marks a significant milestone. It's a testament to the power of collaborative design rooted in culture, performance, and pride.

Impact: While the uniforms have yet to make their official on-field debut, the project has already created buzz within fan communities and internal circles alike. The creative presentation helped secure full production approval from Tamanaco Sports in late 2024, moving from concept to manufacturing in under four months — a rare pace for national-level sportswear.

The work has also strengthened the visual identity of the Cardenales brand as it heads into a new era — blending nostalgia with innovation in a way that resonates with longtime fans and new audiences.
 This is more than a jersey — it’s a symbol of national pride, reborn through design.
